Trypillian Eggs

This follow-up 2-hour class is perfect for homeschoolers, small groups, and individuals interested in furthering their skills in the art of pysanky.

Fee $20 per student

This unique style reminiscent of the American Southwest is actually inspired by the 6000-year-old Trypillian culture from western Ukraine.  Students will apply layers of wax and dye to create these wonderful rhythmic designs on a chicken egg .  No artistic skill or experience is necessary.

Class fee includes a chicken egg, materials for in class use and a take-home instruction folder.

Since we will be working with a candle flame, students should be 6^th grade and above.  Class size limited to 10 students.
